PCpl Oneil B. Palayen from the Alfonso Lista Municipal Police Station (MPS) recently received a cellphone from Mr. Leonardo S. Lubong, an ice cream vendor residing in Ramon, Isabela. Mr. Lubong discovered the cellphone on a rough road at P6 Carvania in Barangay Sta. Maria, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao.

Upon finding the device, Mr. Lubong took immediate action. Rather than keeping the cellphone, he chose to deliver it to the Alfonso Lista MPS. His intention was to ensure the phone was safely kept and eventually returned to its rightful owner. This act reflects not only Mr. Lubong's integrity but also the honesty that is a hallmark of the Cordilleran people.
