Igorot bodybuilder Ortis Tindaan, Jr. made a strong impression at the Elite Body Pangasinan Bodybuilding Competition, held on April 21 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. Competing in an event that attracted 106 athletes from across the Philippines, Tindaan secured a commendable top-five finish, placing third in the bantamweight division and fourth in the short physique category.

A Growing Independent Event

The Elite Body Pangasinan is a rising independent bodybuilding event, co-presented by F3 Sports Center, The Urdaneta Hub, and GetWheysted Supplements Pangasinan. As a standalone brand, it operates outside the umbrella of any established bodybuilding federation, offering athletes like Tindaan a unique platform to showcase their dedication and physical prowess.

Focused on Discipline and Consistency

Tindaan's success is rooted in his disciplined approach to fitness and nutrition. He meticulously tracks his diet by weighing every meal and monitoring his intake of calories, protein, fats, and carbohydrates. This level of precision extends to his workout regimen, where he emphasizes proper execution and ensures he gets adequate rest between sets.

"I also do quality workouts focusing on proper executions and proper rest time during workouts," Tindaan shared, underscoring the importance of technique and recovery in his routine.

In addition to his rigorous training, Tindaan prioritizes sleep as a crucial component of muscle recovery. He aims for eight to ten hours of rest each night, recognizing its impact on his overall performance and muscle development.

Beyond the Competition Stage

At just 25 years old, Tindaan is not only making waves in the bodybuilding world but also in the fitness industry as an online coach. Through his platform "Sportis Fitness," he guides clients in achieving their fitness goals, offering personalized services that include fat loss, muscle gain, customized workout programs, meal planning, and supplementation guidance. His approach is comprehensive, providing clients with continuous support through regular check-ins and chat support.

Tindaan actively shares his bodybuilding journey on social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. His content includes workout videos that highlight his exceptional form, sculpted through years of dedication to gymnastics, calisthenics, and judo.

The former judo varsity athlete from the University of the Cordilleras Jaguars also contributes to the fitness community as a member of the Bardilleranz calisthenics group. His diverse athletic background has equipped him with a unique perspective on fitness, which he integrates into his coaching and personal training routines.
