PLTCOL John Kawi Guiagui, Igorot from Mountain Province, was named as the Best Station Commander of the Year during the 120th MPD Founding Anniversary held at the Manila Police District Headquarters in January 2021.

PLTCOL Guiagui, from Sagada, Mountain Province, is Outstanding Manilan in Law Enforcement

PLTCOL Guiagui, a native of Sagada, Mountain Province was awarded for his great achievements as Police Chief of MPD.

In 2015, his feeding programs to the poor and underprivileged street dwellers in Quiapo, Manila have been well recognized by the media and received numerous praises.

PLTCOL John Kawi Guiagui is Best Station Commander of the Year

PLTCOL Guiagui, a graduate of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), was later recognized as the Best Precinct Commander for 2015-2018 during his stint as police commander of the Quiapo district.

PLTCOL Guiagui was also commended for his proficiency as Station Commander of Sta. Cruz Police Station 3. He was adjudged as 4th placer in the recently concluded Police Executive Service Eligibility (PESE) examinations held last November 2020.

His high degree of competence and performance in the PESE has earned him a Certificate of Eligibility.

The PESE, which has two phases, the written exam, and the panel interview, is an eligibility requirement for the ranks of police senior superintendent, police chief superintendent, police director, police deputy director general, and police director general.

Sta. Cruz Police Station 3 recognized for achieving the highest number of accomplishments on Campaign Against Violators of City Ordinance.

The Sta. Cruz Police Station 3 under his leadership was also recognized last February 8, 2021, for achieving the highest number of accomplishments on the Campaign Against Violators of City Ordinance for a total of 3,255 arrested persons covering the period of December 3, 2020, to January 28, 2021.
