Reasons why you should get married in Benguet Claver and Fleann Molot

If you're a couple who loves adventure, great food, and a cool climate, Benguet should be your destination wedding choice. This landlocked province has plenty of things to offer to make your wedding truly memorable and romantic.

Here are 5 reasons why Benguet should be your wedding venue:

1. Cool weather and fresh air

Cool weather is surely an unmistakable cue for romance. The different municipalities in Benguet have different average annual temperatures ranging from 17°C to 21°C, way cooler than the average temperature of other provinces in the country at 26.6 °C.

This means you and your guests can relax and enjoy during the preparation and ceremony because you are more comfortable. You won't be endlessly wiping your sweat or finding ways to keep cool.

2. Fresh Vegetables and Fruits

Where else can you find the freshest, juiciest, and cheapest vegetables and fruits than in the salad bowl of the Philippines?

Benguet strawberries are undoubtedly the best

Benguet is the main source of highland vegetables in the country so if your family and friends are health buffs, a menu filled with plenty of green options wouldn't be a problem.

3. Romantic Outdoor and Garden Venues

Do you want to get married in a grassy garden surrounded by flowers? Or perhaps a rustic venue surrounded by pine trees? You can definitely find that in Benguet. If you prefer open venues, there are gardens and landscaped mountains available. You can also find closed venues like pavilions and gymnasiums.

You have abundant choices for your prenuptial and postnuptial pictures. You can have a romantic sunrise photoshoot at the highest mountain peak in Luzon, Mt. Pulag in Kabayan. If you prefer a shorter hike, Mt. Yangbew in La Trinidad is also a great pick. If you like some waterscapes, the province is also rich with rivers, creeks, lakes, and waterfalls.

Check out our posts for other attractions in Benguet which are excellent for your pre-nuptial and post-nuptial photo shoots. There are also natural and man-made attractions to suit your preferences. For your safety, always register first in the local tourism office of the barangay or municipality before heading out on your adventure.

4. Pine Trees

Pine trees give beautiful, refreshing, and romantic scenery for your wedding. They don't only look great in pictures; they surely set a dreamy vibe for any occasion. The symbols of life and love that trees represent make them perfect for matrimony.
