Three (3) Cordillerans are among the topnotchers in the March 2021 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination. Aside from the three topnotchers, the University of Baguio landed in the 4th overall in the Top Performing Schools with a passing rate of 90.37% while the Saint Louis University (SLU) ranked overall first with a passing rate of 98.01%.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the list of successful examinees in the Medical Technologist Licensure on March 25, 2021. The exam was held on March 17 and 18, 2021 in the cities of Manila, Baguio City, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pangasinan, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
Out of 3,251 examinees, 1,921 successfully passed the licensure exams which includes three students from the Cordilleras making their way to the top 10.

Ryal Anthony C. Lauron of the University of Baguio (UB) and Julius Ryan R. Salmos of Saint Louis University (SLU) both garnered an 87.60% rating and made it to the 4th spot while Aldous Rein B. Nonog, also from SLU, made it to 9th place with an 86.90% rating.
