The local government plans to reopen the Benguet Provincial Museum in April of this year.
Heather Dizon, provincial tourism operations officer, said the museum will open various exhibits every six months.
The museum is undergoing rehab and is equipped with CCTV cameras and other new equipments.
It was funded by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts for P350,000.
One of the oldest artifacts in the museum is the century old coin of the American period.
Several collections are also exhibited in the Benguet museum from various donors.
The museum first opened on June 19, 1973 for the preservation of antique objects from various parts of Benguet.
The Benguet Provincial Museum is located at Benguet Capitol Building, Buyagan Rd, La Trinidad, Benguet.
