200 newly appointed patrolmen and patrolwomen formally took their oath as the newest members of Police Regional Office Cordillera in a ceremony held at Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on October 14, 2022.
The event was graced by PBGEN JOHN C CHUA, the PROCOR Deputy Regional Director for Administration, as the guest of honor & speaker and as the administering officer.
As part of the ceremony, PLTCOL RICHARD ALBON, Chief of the Regional Recruitment and Selection Unit-Cordillera presented the candidates for appointment. Afterward, PCOL GLENN D LONOGAN, Chief of the Regional Personnel Records and Management Division (RPRMD), read the appointment orders of the 200 newly appointed personnel of PROCOR.
Then, PBGEN CHUA administered the oath-taking of the newly appointed patrolmen and patrolwomen which was followed by the ceremonial awarding of the Automated Teller Machine Cards to the appointees.
In his message, PBGEN CHUA challenged the newly appointed patrolmen and patrolwomen to prove their worth in joining the PNP organization.
"Now, I am challenging every one of you.... to prove to us that you are all worthy of joining the PNP organization, wear our uniform with vigor, strong-willed determination, and of course above all with integrity," PBGEN CHUA said.
After the oath-taking, the 200 newly appointed patrolmen and patrolwomen will undergo six months of Public Safety Basic Recruit Course training and six months of Field Training Program as part of their preparation as police officers.
