In a significant achievement, King's College of the Philippines in Benguet, situated in the Cordillera region, has secured its position as the leading Criminology School in the country. During the Criminology board exam conducted from August 25 to 27, 2023, the college achieved an impressive 88.89% passing rate, as officially announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Out of the 63 examinees from King's College of the Philippines in Benguet, 56 successfully passed the board exam, earning the institution the prestigious Rank 1 as the top Criminology School in the nation. This exceptional performance stands as a testament to the dedication and hard work exhibited by both students and faculty members. It also underscores the college's commitment to providing quality education and effective board exam preparation.
Meanwhile, the University of the Cordilleras (UC) maintained its strong position, securing second place with an 83.72% passing percentage. This achievement follows UC's successful performance in the April 2023 CLE, where it also claimed the second spot.
The Commission on Higher Education has commended both King's College of the Philippines and the University of the Cordilleras for their consistent excellence in criminology education. Notably, these institutions have excelled in the board exam for the past six years. In a statement, they expressed their heartfelt congratulations, highlighting that the consistent excellence of Cordillera Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) reaffirms their status as hubs of quality education.
