Opening up the biggest Tongits spectacle brought to life by GameZone, the Tongits Champions Cup will commence its heavyweight Tongits bout with the battle of the first of three groups, Group A, on December 5.
GameZone, the premium online gaming destination in the Philippines, launched the Tongits Champions Cup with a total of 27 participants-24 coming from online qualifiers and 3 Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). All players are evenly distributed into three groups: Group A, Group B, and Group C.
The Beginning of the Elite Tongits Display
The first group of the Tongits Champions Cup, Group A, is composed of 8 randomly selected online qualified players and one Key Opinion Leader (KOL), creating a diverse and competitive field of participants. These nine individuals bring a range of skills, strategies, and experiences to the competition, setting the stage for an intense and unpredictable series of matches. The online qualified players have proven their worth through a rigorous selection process, while the KOL adds an extra layer of excitement and credibility to the event.
Punching their ticket onto the Finals will inch them closer to the ultimate prize of ₱300,000. The second placer is set to cash out ₱100,000, while a ₱60,000 reward will be harvested by the third-ranked player. GameZone plans to give out a total of ₱1,000,000 in a prize pool, distributed to all 27 participating players.
