Benguet province's biggest tourist come-ons include strawberries in La Trinidad, flower farms in Atok and scenic Mount Pulag in Kabayan.
According to Provincial Tourism Operations Officer Eleazar Carias, the towns of La Trinidad, Atok and Kabayan recorded the highest increase in tourist arrivals last year.
He said the popular strawberry field in La Trinidad remains a "must-see" for tourists where tourists have the opportunity to experience first-hand strawberry picking.
He also said the influx of tourists to Atok is due to flower plantations such as the Northern Blossoms Flower Farm, Haight's Place and Sakura Park where photoshoots can take place.
He said Mount Pulag, the second highest peak in Luzon, is still a favorite among adventurers.
Carias further said that the Top 10 foreign visitors to Benguet are from Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, France, the USA, UK, Australia, Germany, Japan, Netherland, and China.
He added that the number of tourist destinations in Benguet continues to grow, as the tourism industry is one of the strengths of the local economy.
