Domogan's Charity Golf Cup Raises Funds for a Worthy Cause

Celebrating the Notable Achievements of a Community Champion

: Baguio Country Club

Baguio City- In a remarkable display of generosity and sporting excellence, the annual Domogan Charity Golf Cup took place last weekend (October 21), with esteemed community leader Mauricio Domogan at the helm.

The event, held at the picturesque Camp John Hay Golf Club, not only showcased the city's love for golf but also raised significant funds for a worthy cause.

Mauricio Domogan, a well-respected figure in the region, has consistently demonstrated his commitment to uplifting the lives of the underprivileged.

As a former Mayor of Baguio City and a strong advocate for social welfare, Domogan has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at improving the community's well-being.

The Domogan Charity Golf Cup, now in its 10th year, has become a highly anticipated event in the city's calendar, attracting avid golfers, philanthropists, and local businesses alike. Competitive classifications are namely the men's, women's, and seniors' divisions, with three classifications: class A, B, and C.

This year's edition saw a record number of participants, eager to contribute to the noble cause supported by Domogan and his team. During the awarding ceremony last October 21, at the CAP-John Hay Trade and Cultural Center, 221 players received a golf umbrella, a raffle ticket, and a meal ticket.

The tournament showcased not only the participants' sporting prowess but also their unwavering dedication to making a difference. From the moment the first swing echoed through the course, it was evident that the players were determined to raise substantial funds for the chosen charitable organization.

Their beneficiaries for this year's event are the Philippine Red Cross, seminarians, students and patients, wherein the foundation has been providing scholarships to deserving individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

With the funds raised from the Domogan Charity Golf Cup, it will enable the organization to expand its reach, empowering more young minds to pursue their dreams and break the cycle of poverty.
