
TABUK CITY, KALINGA - The Provincial Capitol Park in Tabuk City came alive on February 13, 2025, with a vibrant showcase of indigenous artistry and fashion. The Laga Fashion Show 2025, held at 5 PM, shone a spotlight on the remarkable talent of local designers and artisans, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Kalinga region.
Spearheaded by Kalinga Supervising Tourism Operations Officer Lorraine Alunday Ngao-i, with Joon T. Ascano as Fashion Director, the event presented a diverse array of creations. A highlight of the evening celebrated the accomplishments of young Kalinga women. Miss Kalinga 2025 Fatima Bensilan Peralta, Miss Kalinga Tourism 2025 Ezra Kiser Lagasi, and Miss Kalinga Environment 2025, Claire Baguitan, graced the runway, followed by Cynthia Ruth Somera, known by her stage name Fo Fa-i. Fo Fa-i's appearance underscored the event's focus on both cultural heritage and contemporary Kalinga identity, as she is the first yKalinga model to be featured in the February 2025 issue of Vogue Philippines.
