Maricris Payagen Lad-ey Neyney, a proud Igorot woman and alumna of the University of the Cordilleras (UC), ranked 7th in the August 2023 Psychologists Licensure Examination with a rating of 85.05%.
Maricris is a passionate advocate for mental health and has always dreamed of becoming a psychologist. She is inspired by the power of psychology to help people heal and grow. She is also committed to using her skills to make a difference in the lives of others.

Maricris is currently working as the Chief of the Human Resource Development Office at Benguet State University (BSU) and is also a volunteer counselor at a local mental health clinic. She is passionate about using her skills to help people in need, especially those from marginalized communities.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on August 16, 2023 that 339 out of 468 examinees passed the Psychologists Licensure Examination. The exam was held in Manila, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Pampanga, and Rosales.
