Riding on the back of a motorcycle driven by her husband, Daniel, a preacher aged 46, Joy Alos was with their two kids when the collision occurred around 6:40 p.m. A Victory Liner sleeper bus, heading to Cubao, Quezon City, tried to pass their motorcycle. The motorcycle turned left, and the bus couldn't stop in time, leading to a serious crash.
Loss and Injuries
The collision was severe. Joy Alos couldn't survive her injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Daniel, her husband, got injured and is receiving medical care. Fortunately, the two kids suffered only minor injuries and are stable.

The bus driver, Diosdado Valdez, faced charges of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in homicide, multiple injuries, and property damage in an inquest proceeding on November 13.
