Shallyne Joy Tamano Tallog of Kalinga won the bronze medal in the Kyorugi Event of the 16th Asean Taekwondo Championship, which was hosted by the Philippine Taekwondo Association at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Paranaque City on March 11, 2023.

Shallyne Joy Tamano Tallog is a 16-year-old taekwondo athlete from Kalinga, Philippines. She is a consistent honor student since elementary and has won numerous medals in local and international competitions.

In March 2023, Shallyne represented the Philippines in the 16th Asean Taekwondo Championship held in ParaƱaque City. She competed in the Kyorugi Event under the Junior Women Division and Flyweight Category, and won the bronze medal.

This is not the first time that Shallyne has won a medal for the Philippines. She has also won gold in the Speed Kicking Asian Online Open Taekwondo and silver during the 1st Global Online Taekwondo Speed Kicking Championship.
