The social media poster has apologized for the photo of four naked men in the popular Apao Rolling Hills in Tineg, Abra, yesterday.
Maraming salamat at kahit papano may natutunan kaming aral. akin pong uulitin, patawad. - Ley Benabese
Earlier, on the Facebook account of a man named Ley Benabese, the four men could be seen showing their naked backs with the caption "Hello 2020, haha" and immediately went viral.
However, it has been criticized by many netizens and locals as it only degrades the beauty of the area.
After some time, the controversial post was deleted.
Tineg Mayor Corinthia Crisologo has confirmed that they will take appropriate action regarding the post.
Apao Rolling Hills is one of the tourist destinations in Tineg town where the "picturesque panorama" of a grassland can be seen over the hills.
It also offers outdoor activities such as cycling or mountain biking, hiking and climbing.
