Seven graduates from Saint Louis University (SLU) were among the Top 10 topnotchers in the August 2021 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination, according to the results released August 24.
The August 2021 Mechanical Engineer and Certified Plant Mechanic (ME-CPM) board licensure exams results including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees, and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Mechanical Engineering in six (6) working days after the last day of exams.
The August 2021 Mechanical Engineering licensure exams are originally scheduled for February 2021 but later re-scheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in several travel restrictions.
The Mechanical Engineering board exams were conducted on August 15-16, 2021 at PRC testing centers located at the Baguio, Cotabato, Lucena, Pangasinan, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
As announced, 247 out of 621 passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination From the Department of Mechanical Engineering, seven got the highest marks:
- Nathaniel Beaver A. Mendoza - 90.05%
- Christian Justin M. Sese - 89.90%.
- Jayshey W. Baguidudol - 89.70%
- Marvin Louis S. Ferrer - 89.65%
- Emmanuel F. Villasin - 89.05%.
- Jezreel John P. Sannadan - 88.25%
- Mario A. Ibay - 88.00%
In total, Saint Louis University produced 103 new Mechanical Engineers with a 58.86% Passing Rate.
