This came about when the lady reporter, Dyan Castillejo, after pointing out the unprecedented rise of Team Lakay in the world of MMA, asked the question, "What's the secret?"

While Former ONE flyweight champion Geje Eustaquio gave a scientific answer, crediting the mountainous terrain of the Cordilleras, and the fresh supplies of vegetables for the extraordinary strength and stamina being displayed by the Igorot warriors of TEAM LAKAY, Danny Kingad, wasn't shy, in fact, he was smiling when he added, WATWAT may have something to do with it.

Yes, he actually said it. Check this video out.

---(interview was done December 2016, but first aired January 2017)

God bless you Danny Kingad in your quest to become a world champion. Being the top contender in ONE flyweight division, watwat or no watwat, there's no doubt you have all the tools to win the elusive championship belt.

Mountain dweller, etag eater, and I love my dog the way a white man loves his turkey on his thanksgiving day.
