Kenneth Jhayve Bautista, a proud Igorot from Benguet, has proven that the Igorots can shine on the international stage after finishing 1st runner-up in the recently concluded Mr. & Ms. World Universe International 2022.
Bautista was also named Best in Interview during the competition held at the SKY HOA Hotel on July 16 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The pageantry scene isn't new to the Igorot hottie, he had been joining several pageants locally and internationally, to name a few, Mr. Itogon, Mr. Continental Philippines, and Mr. Teen International.
Bautista is presently working as a model and actor. One of his well-known projects is the film "Salidumay", a film by Dexter Macaraeg which had a world premiere at the Cinemalaya 2021 Indie Nation Shorts Section, Roshani International Film Festival, and the Abrenian Heritage Film Festival 2021, and was officially selected at the 11th International Film Festival Manhattan.
Kenneth who hails from Tram, Ucab, Itogon, Benguet is an alumnus of St. Louis High School in Antamok, Inc., Batch 2014. In his four years of stay in SLHSAI, he had been an active member of the Dance Troupe and the Sons and Daughters of Migrants.
Kenneth is also an active member of Keep Going Baguio, a community organization or support group pushing for greater mental health awareness and the welfare of people living with mental disorders. He is also a volunteer of Hawak Kamay Pilipinas, a disaster and calamity volunteer group.
