"I was surprised to receive information from my operator that I have to be present in city hall early Monday morning. I did not expect that I will receive a surprise of my life from what I think was a simple thing that I had done in returning the luggage of my Australian passenger."

"We are proud of Cabutotan's heroic act because it again proves that we were able to sustain inculcating to the minds of our tourism frontliners the importance of being honest to help attract the influx of more visitors to our city."

"The City Government of Baguio commends ordinary individuals with extraordinary show of HONESTY in the performance of their duties or practice of profession.

Today, we commend REGIE CABUTUTAN, a driver of Dustin Brant Taxi, who on Saturday, 21 January 2017 the same day when luggage was left in the compartment of the taxi he was driving brought back the same to it's owner, Mr. Trent Shields, an Australian national who is in Baguio for a Business trip. Mr. Trent's luggage contained his passport, Macbook Pro, cash, and other important documents.

Indeed, faith in humanity restored with these simple acts that touch other people's life. Mr. Cabututan, you have proven again that the Baguio boy lives by the highest sense of fair play that is the mark of one from our City. Your act of honesty is worth of emulation. May your tribe increase."
