Another Igorot centenarian from Kabayan, Benguet has received her centenarian cash gift from the government.

Antonina Toctocan Diaus or "Lola Nena", as she is fondly called by the folks of barangay Poblacion, celebrated her 100th birthday last July 10.

She received One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P100,000.00) from DSWD and a certificate of felicitation from President Duterte which was personally delivered by Mam Michelle B. Pinmiliw, DSWD-CAR staff on September 1.

The local government also released P15,000.00 as per Municipal Ordinance No. 143-2019, An ordinance recognizing and granting cash incentives to Octogenarians, Nonagenarians, and Centenarians who are bonafide residents of the Municipality of Kabayan.

She is the third from Kabayan to receive such a gift. At present, Kabayan has three living centenarians, all females, still active and beautiful and all aging gracefully.
