Decided to walk around since I couldn't sleep and the Typhoon Egay Hitting the PH and specially Benguet gives me anxiety since I haven't heard news from home. I have only seen heartbreaking pics of the small town I grew up in.
I walked passed a Gumamela and couldn't help but to take a picture and even to sultop it if it has the same taste as my childhood days - but well, All I got were ants inside met. Crunchy! Sabali samet gumamela da ditoy adda lahi na gamin. Forenger!
Idi ka ub ubingak; I hate waking up early during the weekdays nga panag sskwila, Agwalwala ak nga bumangon my alarm is my mom's loud voice ken jay Bombo Reporter ijay Radio. Ngem surprisingly nu weekends I don't sleep in & I'm up early uray haan pay nag dir-diram-os diretson dayta ijay ruar nga apan maki ay ayam.
Kanayun nga matira jay gumamela ijay balay mi, agawid ni Nanang ko nga naiwar wara amin nga bulong. Na aramid nga plato ken nataltal ta Chef kami garud. Adda metlang jay Lantana Flowers nga dayta nagbalinen nga Kwintas or Bracelet. But the smell of that Lantana stay up until the soul ngay, nagkaru angot na.
Remembering the good ol days makes me wonder nu kumustan dgidyay childhood buddies ko. I would definitely send a message man nu madamdama. I miss being a child, tamang ilad lang ken abangers ti class suspension nu adda bagyo. Ngem anya garud enjoyen lattan ti adulting while sultup-ing a gumamela! Cheers! ☕️
Okay back to "Egay" I pray that those who are affected ket makabangon manen adi specially to the Dear Farmers nga nalubog manen mula da. Better days are coming for everyone! 🤞🙏
