Of the Kalinga province's 8 eight municipalities and city, only Lubuagan remains COVID19-free.

Lubuagan Mayor Charisma Anne Dickpus attributed this to prayers and strong cooperation of people with local government unit (LGU).

Among the measures implemented in the municipality include strict compliance to health and quarantine protocols.

For Locally Stranded Individuals, the LGU adopted pre-contact tracing procedures to allow easier tracing of contacts in case confirmed cases arise, Dickpus said.

The province has recorded 262 total COVID-19 cases, 224 recoveries, 38 active & zero death, as of November 03.
